" What have you been learning about?"
We have been learning about subtraction and symmetry in maths. In literacy, we have written a recount of what we did in the October Holidays. Also, we have done lots of art inspired by artists like Keith Haring and Roy Lichtenstein.

"What have you been learning?"
Our country study focus has been on China and we have been completing lots of activities to learn about the county like making China-style plates, Chinese fans, sketching the Great Wall of China and an independent research activity to compare China to Scotland. Other activities we have done are studying Picasso's portraits and creating our own cubism-style portraits, as well as creating kindness buckets. In maths, we have been working on place value, addition and rounding.

I liked learning about cubism because we got to pick how the portrait looked with the different colours and eyes. It was really fun.
