We are your Parent Council and we meet throughout the year on a Wednesday evening. The dates are always advertised on the school app and we would love you to come along.
We have two main roles. Firstly we represent the parent body and work in partnership with the school in order to support the education and welfare of the pupils. For example, we give feedback to the school management team on new policies and budget proposals. We consult with the parent body to find out what your concerns and priorities are in relation to your children’s Education. Any parent can join our committee and we are always looking for new recruits ?. Parents are able to come to any meeting, but in particular our Annual General Meeting is always held in September shortly after the start of the first term. That is when Committee Members are elected.
Our second job is to help raise funds and all monies we raise go to help projects at the school. Recently we have been working on making our events as inclusive as possible. We have a number of fundraising activities planned over the course of the year such as:-
Christmas Cards
Hampers
Tea Towels
